Tata Sumo Grande MKII :
"more than meets the eye"
Tata Motors has launched another new iteration of Tata Sumo. This one is called Tata Motors Sumo Grande MKII. The new SUV, the upgraded version of Sumo Grande was launched in Mumbai on 14th December, 2009. This recently launched Sumo Grande MKII will be priced between Rs. 6.43 lakhs and Rs. 7.50 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Sumo Grande has got style, safety and technology. It offers great performance and is nice to drive. A good car for your family, it is available in 6 colors--sunset orange, mineral red, marine blue, arctic silver, zephyr green and quartz black. It has 2.2L DICOR engine that delivers great performance. Its fuel efficiency is also commendable. Sumo Grande has got fabulous looks and it seems Tata Motors has worked hard on its exterior designing. It has large four spoke steering wheel, rectangular glove box and upmarket dashboard. The adjustable steering wheel and height adjustable seats make driving a pleasant one. However, the use of cheap plastics may not be liked by many and the car also suffers from the decade old chassis and suspension set up.
